Meet Daniel
A mechanic who'd rather be in the cab.
Daniel grew up in Echuca and lives in Kyabram with his wife Maddi and daughter Eden. He's a qualified small motor mechanic, but the last ten years have been spent operating machines on commercial excavation and earthworks sites across northern Victoria.
He started DM Mini Excavations to bring that same standard, careful, on-time, properly finished, to smaller landscaping, residential and farm earthworks jobs around home. When you call, you get Daniel. When the machine turns up, Daniel is driving it.

What we do
Mini earthworks done right.
Most jobs handled in a day or two with a mini excavator on site. It fits through narrow side gates and into tight backyards where bigger machines won't go. If it needs digging, levelling, trenching or carting away, ask, chances are it's a job for Daniel.
Trenching
Trenching for plumbing, electrical, stormwater and irrigation, dug clean to depth and width.
Post & footing holes
Augered holes for fence posts, pergolas, sheds, decks and house footings.
Landscaping prep

Do you offer free quotes?
Yes. Daniel gives free, no-obligation quotes. For most jobs he can give you a rough idea over the phone, and for bigger or trickier ones he'll pop out for a quick look first.
What areas do you cover?
DM Mini Excavations is based in Kyabram and works across Echuca, Shepparton, Yarrawonga, Mulwala, Cobram, Moama and the surrounding areas. If you're not sure whether you're in range, just give Daniel a call.
Will your machine fit through a side gate or into a tight backyard?
That's exactly what a mini excavator is for. It tracks in to about 950mm wide at its narrowest, so it gets through most standard side gates and into tight backyards where a full-size machine can't go, as long as there's a bit of clearance either side. If access is really tight, mention it when you call and Daniel will let you know if it'll fit.
What kind of jobs do you take on?
Site and driveway prep, concrete and brick removal, landscaping, shed pads, trenching for plumbing and electrical, drainage, post and footing holes, retaining walls, turf laying and removal, small demolition and farm work. If it needs digging, levelling or carting away excess soil, just ask.
How much does a job cost?
Every job is priced individually based on the work, how easy the site is to access and how much material needs carting away. Daniel gives free quotes up front, so you'll know the cost before anything starts.
Do you cart away the dirt and rubble?
Yes. Daniel can remove and cart away spoil, old concrete, bricks and green waste so you're left with a tidy site.
Are you insured?
Yes. DM Mini Excavations carries $20 million public liability insurance, so you're covered on every job.
